Identity-Based Key-Encapsulation Mechanism from Multilinear Maps

چکیده
We construct an Identity-Based Key Encapsulation Mechanism (IBKEM) in a generic “leveled” multilinear map setting and prove its security under multilinear decisional Diffie-Hellmanin assumption in the selective-ID model. Then, we make our IB-KEM translated to the GGH framework, which defined an “approximate” version of a multilinear group family from ideal lattices, and modify our proof of security to use the GGH graded algebras analogue of multilinear maps.

Low Overhead Broadcast Encryption from Multilinear Maps
We use multilinear maps to provide a solution to the long-standing problem of public-key broadcast encryption where all parameters in the system are small. In our constructions, ciphertext overhead, private key size, and public key size are all poly-logarithmic in the total number of users. The systems are fully collusion-resistant against any number of colluders. All our systems are based on a...
متن کاملExtensions of Public-Key, Identity-Based and Certificateless Encryption Schemes
In this work, we first study extensions and applications of the identity-based encryption (IBE) primitive, focusing on generic constructions. We first define what is meant by an identity-based key encapsulation mechanism before extending it to the multi-recipient setting. We then propose an efficient multi-recipient scheme based on bilinear maps and then move on to investigate the properties of...
متن کاملRevocable Hierarchical Identity-Based Encryption from Multilinear Maps
In identity-based encryption (IBE) systems, an efficient key delegation method to manage a large number of users and an efficient key revocation method to handle the dynamic credentials of users are needed. Revocable hierarchical IBE (RHIBE) can provide these two methods by organizing the identities of users as a hierarchy and broadcasting an update key for non-revoked users per each time perio...
متن کاملDirect Chosen-Ciphertext Secure Identity-Based Key Encapsulation Without Random Oracles
We describe a new and practical identity-based key encapsulation mechanism that is secure in the standard model against chosen-ciphertext (CCA2) attacks. Since our construction is direct and not based on hierarchical identity-based encryption, it is more efficient than all previously proposed schemes. Furthermore, we give the first chosen-ciphertext secure identity-based key encapsulation mecha...
متن کاملProgrammable Hash Functions in the Multilinear Setting
We adapt the concept of a programmable hash function (PHF, Crypto 2008) to a setting in which a multilinear map is available. This enables new PHFs with previously unachieved parameters. To demonstrate their usefulness, we show how our (standard-model) PHFs can replace random oracles in several well-known cryptographic constructions. Namely, we obtain standard-model versions of the BonehFrankli...
